Winery Tour
CASA MARÍN & KINGSTON FAMILY VINEYARDS
A slow-paced day visiting two of Chile’s most celebrated wine regions, San Antonio and Casablanca, both renowned for their high-quality Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Sryah, which prosper in the coastal climate and terroir of both areas. See a human-scale approach to winemaking at two family-owned wineries, where the focus is on quality, not quantity. Casa Marín was born from a bold dream led by María Luz Marín, Chile’s first female winemaker, who challenged the established norms of Chilean viticulture by producing high-end white wines in Lo Abarca, a coastal area with extreme conditions considered unsuitable for grape cultivation. Her vision transformed this area into an exceptional terroir that today gives life to unique and internationally award-winning wines. Kingston Family Vineyards is one of a handful of Chilean vineyards leveraging artisan winemaking and sustainable viticulture. Master of Wine Tim Atkin recognized Kingston as a First Growth, a standout for consistent quality.
The first part of this tour will allow you to explore the terroir that distinguishes Casa Marín as the only winery in Chile with its own Designation of Origin. Upon arrival, a glass of wine is served, followed by a tour of the grounds and a tasting of 3 premium wines and 1 icon, served with a board of local cheeses, dried fruit, and crackers. The highlight of the second part of the tour is a five-course, wine-paired culinary experience at Kingston, crafted with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Upon arrival, enjoy a glass of perfectly chilled rosé before taking your seat for lunch with an unbeatable view over the Casablanca Valley.
